Monday is our most hectic day of the week. The faster I can whip up a dish for dinner, the better! This one in particular has the added benefit that it’s completely customisable for each little dinner guest, therefore no complaints!

In the time it takes to cook the pasta, you throw a fresh salad together, slice up a delicious crispy sourdough bread and hey presto – it’s done! Place on the table a collection of condiments to every heart’s content and you’ll be guaranteed happy faces all around.

Aglio (garlic) and olio (oil) is the most basic of pasta dishes, yet larger than life on a meal plan, satisfying and just delicious. It’s perfect as is, but you can add chili, your favourite cheese, sundried tomato, basil, etc. etc. to your heart’s content.

Perfect Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore with Baby Potatoes

I really don’t use my slow cooker often enough and every time I do, I promise to use make use of it more often. It’s actually quite the “mom’s miracle” in the kitchen – a huge time saver! Not only that but there are just a myriad of wonderful recipes out there.

Even though this recipe had me at “Slow cooker”, I was genuinely, pleasantly surprised at how delicious the meal was.
